Pre order campaign launch: WEDNESDAY 22ND JULY 2026

For avid Moon Phase Studios followers, you’ll be more than aware that every summer we launch a pre-order campaign to raise the vital capital needed to privately publish our 13 Moon Journals.

This will be our fourth edition (eek) and we are thrilled to be able to keep going with this passion project - supported by you!

And now here’s some FAQ’s about our pre-order campaign:

 

Why do we need to do pre-orders?

We’re a small business, we choose the best quality products and print in relatively small batches so that means the cost to us is high. If we were to borrow the capital needed to cashflow these projects it would incur more expense onto you the customer. Placing a pre-order means we can incentivise a discount to our pre-order supporters as well as gauging the interest for these products to place orders accordingly.

 

What do we get in return for placing a pre-order?

A discount! You purchase either a 13 Moon Journal or one of the bundles we have created and receive a pre-order discount on those items. Sit back and wait for them to be shipped to you in September so you have them in plenty of time for their starting date on 24th December 2026.

What will be available to pre-order?

We will have 3 different pre-order options this year:

Can I alter the items in the pre-order?

No, unfortunately not. The only items available to pre-order are the two bundles (Complete Moon Collection and Moon Journal Signature Set) and the individual 13 Moon Journal. You can add multiples of these pre-order items but cannot swap items listed within the pre-order bundles. If you want to curate your own items in your cart, we advise that you wait until the pre-order campaign has ended and purchase them directly when readily available in September 2026.

Can I add other items from the website to my pre-order to be delivered at the same time?

Yes! This year, you can add other items from our website to your order, alongside your 'pre-order', BUT you will have to wait to receive them all together when pre-orders ship.

Can I split the order to ship to separate addresses?

No, unfortunately we do not have this option available in our system. Please place two separate orders to separate addresses.

When will I receive my pre-order?

We will receive all our inventory early September 2026 and we predict it might take up to 4 weeks to fulfil pre-orders. We will aim for pre-orders to be dispatched by end of September 2026 and you will receive a shipment notification email and tracking link once dispatched. We aim for pre-orders to be fulfilled in the order we received them, dependant on stock availability.

When will the pre-order offer end?

Depending on how it is progressing, we are expecting to run our pre-order campaign for 8-10 weeks until mid September, but we reserve the right to end the campaign at any given time. Notice will be given via our emails and social media when the pre-order campaign is coming to an end.

When does the 13 Moon Journal 2027 begin?

The start date is the 24th December 2026 (the last Full Moon of that year) and continues for the next 13 moon cycles ending on the last Dark Moon of 2027 (26th December 2027).

 

What timezone is the 13 Moon Journal in?

We have one version of the 13 Moon Journal in London GMT. Please read this article here about using your 13 Moon Journal in your own timezone.

What if I change my mind or want to return my preorder?

Please contact us to cancel and refund your pre-order in full, before we dispatch it. If you have received your pre-order items and want to return them to us unused and in perfect condition, please email us at info@moonphasestudios.com to organise a return. We recommend reading our Return and Refund policy here before placing an order. 

Can I hold my pre-order and specify when I want it delivered in case I am away?

We cannot organise a specific delivery date as we will be fulfilling all pre-orders in the order they were received. We recommend placing your pre-order to a shipping address that will be able to retrieve your items during the months of September and October. Alternatively you can also wait until the pre-order campaign has ended to place your order directly, which will be dispatched within 1-2 days.
